I spent most of my ministerial career administrating private schools, but in 2008 I was ordained as a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. As of March 1, 2012, I am the new pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in New Martinsville WV. I have an M.A. in Theology from Bob Jones University, an M.Ed. from Covenant College, and enough additional hours to roughly match the requirements for a Master of Divinity. I am now trying hard to round this out with a Doctor of Ministry from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Married since 1995 with three boys.
Theologically, I am interested in discovering analogies of Christ in culture as manifestations of the Imago Dei and the common grace of God to all mankind. Even the stones cry out.
The title of the blog comes from the name of my middle son (Adoniram Taylor Bills). A complete C.V., publications, articles, and information about my family can be found at www.adoniram.net.
